
A Little About Me
It’s so nice to meet you, I’m Lauren.
I'm the owner and founder of LBR Fitness. I am a certified Personal Trainer and Exercise Therapist, certified Health Coach and a certified Holistic Health Specialist. I love my family, hiking and being outside, painting, reading, and movies. I’m a Christian, a wife, a mother and a healthy lifestyle coach!
If you had told me 6 years ago that I would have a business teaching women to get healthy, be giving seminars on stage, and writing a book on all of it, I’d have laughed in your face!
I have not always been healthy and fit. In fact, I spent the better part of my life in chronic pain, and most of my adult life overweight, with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I felt horrible, mentally and physically, and what was worse, I had no hope I could feel better. I convinced myself that this was just my body and that it could be worse so I should just get used to it. I tried all the diets, counted all the points and calories, cut the carbs, drank the teas and shakes, but nothing worked long term. It was always weight loss focused and never focused on true health.
But then, a coach helped change my life. She taught me about balanced nutrition and movement using habit change. No insane workouts, no counting, no restricting food groups, no magic pills, just real food that God made. She helped me change my mindset, which no other program had ever even touched, and she helped free me from diet culture.
I changed my overall health. Not only did I lose weight, lowered my blood pressure and cholesterol. I made my body stronger, in so doing, eliminated my chronic pain that I thought would never go away. I created healthy boundaries with the people in my life and learned how to cope with stress without drinking and eating my feelings. I brought God in on this journey for the first time ever and it has now been years that I have been able to sustain these changes using these basic, simple habits that I now teach my people.
God gave me a deep passion for giving this same freedom to other women. To teach them how to truly take care of themselves. REAL self care. How to get healthier. Learn how to listen to their bodies using biofeedback, how to manage their stress in a healthy way, create healthy boundaries, eat real food with balance and no restriction. How to move their bodies because that’s what they were designed to do, and not to just shape them to look the way the world says it should.
I left the corporate world a week before the pandemic shut everything down, to go all in on this dream, and I haven’t looked back. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Fun Facts About Me
I worked at Disney in college as a character performer and I still dress as a princess for birthday parties for fun.
I love to get dirty and bruised and climb trees; I’m a total boy mom, but I also love girly things like hair and makeup.
Feeding the people I love is my love language. Showing people that healthy food can also be delicious brings me joy.
I love to read and do puzzles.
I LOVE to cook, but I HATE recipes.
I am legally a midget at 4’10”.
The Princess Bride is my all time favorite movie.
